The Lightning JV football team defeated Lakeview 22-20. 

London Guerra got the lightning rolling in the first quarter by throwing a TD pass to Landen Rodgers.  That is all the Lightning could muster in the first half as they trailed Lakeview 14-6. 

The second half was a different story as the defense played aggressive and held Lakeview to 8 points, while the offensive line took over the ball game allowing London Guerra to run for two touchdowns. 

It was a great team win.  Go Bolts!

Last night, the JV Lightning shut out Saginaw United 40-0. 

Landen Rodgers started out the scoring with a 90-yard kick return. The scoring continued with a 15-yard TD pass from London Guerra to Preston VanDerWerken and then a 20-yard TD run by Coltyn Byrnes. 

The defense also got in on the scoring with an interception returned for a touchdown by Zach Norton. 

Finally, Weston Millen ran for a three-yard touchdown to end the scoring for the night. 

The jv will travel to DeWitt next Thursday.
