The Lapeer Boys Varsity Basketball team earned its first win of the season Tuesday night, defeating Midland 53-43 at home.

Will Fisher had 22 points, while Evan Pretty had 10, Hassan Fries eight and Caden Newberry seven.

Next game is January 9 at Grand Blanc.

Lapeer went on the road to Almont and earned its second victory of the season with a 57-52 win!

Will Fisher led the Lightning with 33 points, Hassan Fries added nine, Aiden Monk-Thrower eight and Cayden Newberry six.

Lake Orion defeated Lapeer 56-34 Wednesday night in Lapeer.

Ayden Monk-Thrower led the Lightning with 13 points, while Will Fisher had seven points and Hassan Fries tallied six points.
