Lapeer County Education Attainment Fund (LEAF) is excited to announce that they will be hosting a LEAF360! Wellness Fair THIS SATURDAY, May 2, from
10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. at the Lapeer County Education & Technology Center, located at 690 N. Lake Pleasant Rd., Attica, MI 48412.
This county-wide, free, family-friendly event is designed to incentivize LEAF students and their families as they connect with local resources that support
their physical, mental, and financial well-being.
As a reminder, all PreK–6th grade students automatically received a LEAF account upon enrollment in a Lapeer County school and at the event will have multiple opportunities to earn up dollars for these accounts.
This wellness event for the whole family with FREE giveaways and up to $75 in financial incentives for all Lapeer County students grades PreK-6th that participate. This includes $50 on the day of the event and $25 for any wellness follow-up after the event.
The Wellness Fair will bring together schools, healthcare providers, financial institutions, and community organizations in one central location. Students and families can participate in engaging, hands-on activities focused on Movement, Mindfulness, Medical Needs, and Money—reinforcing the message that healthy students are better prepared for academic
success and future career pathways.

In addition to winning a state championship earlier in the month, Lapeer High School junior Zane Sanchez won the 275-pound weight class over the weekend at the 2026 USA Powerlifting High School Nationals in Killeen, Texas!
Now it’s onto the WORLD competition!

Since February 23 was our seventh cancellation of an instructional day for those on the traditional calendar, we are past our allotted forgiven days of six.
We have two days in the calendar identified this year as makeup days if needed. With that cancellation, the LCS buildings following the traditional calendar will now be scheduled to be in session the Monday after Spring Break, April 6.
