Safety is a top priority at Lapeer Community Schools.

All district staff have recently been trained in ALICE protocols and Stop the Bleed procedures.

Our district looks at school safety from a 360-degree standpoint and is actively identifying opportunities to enhance our protocols and procedures every day.

What is OK2SAY?

OK2SAY is a state-wide program that allows students, parents/guardians, and other community members to report confidential tips on criminal activities or potential harm directed at students, school employees, or schools or to report any concerns about their safety or the safety of others.  The purpose of OK2SAY is to stop harmful behavior before it occurs. The top issues reported to OK2SAY include: suicide threats, bullying, drugs, planned school attack, cyberbullying, threats, sexual assault or misconduct, self-harm and child abuse.
