As we prepare for the 2026-27 school year, we encourage every Lapeer Community Schools family to complete a Free & Reduced Lunch Application—even if you don't think your family will qualify.

Submitting an application is one of the easiest ways you can support your child, your school, and our entire community, and at no cost to you.

These applications help bring important funding to our schools for academic programs, classroom resources, and student support services that benefit all students. The more families who complete an application, the more funding our district may receive for school improvements, technology, staffing, and student programs.

Completing an application may also help your family. Eligible students may qualify for reduced fees related to college applications, the SAT and ACT, scholarship opportunities, and reduced pay to participate athletic fees.

Funding generated through these applications also helps support after-school programs and other grant-funded staff that serve our students.

All information provided on the application is confidential. Your application is private, secure, and will never be shared outside of the school for any purpose unrelated to determining eligibility.
