Michon Periso, Director, Lapeer Virtual Partnership
Michon is no stranger to the homeschool community in Lapeer County. The mother of three homeschooled girls, she has been in the Lapeer area for more than 30 years. Michon received an associate’s degree in advertising and design from St. Clair County Community College in Port Huron.
“Through my 20 years working with homeschool students, I’ve been able to help families get started in homeschooling,” she said. “I’ve been able to help them pick curriculum that fits their student’s learning style, help them prepare their student for college with course suggestions as well as transcript preparation.”
In this position, Michon will continue to be a strong advocate for virtual learning and will be able to offer students more opportunities than ever before.
