regarding the Zemmer Middle School will be

What
a difference a month makes ...
What a difference a month makes. In
just four short weeks the interior rooms and exterior façade of
the former Zemmer Middle School have undergone a significant
overhaul.
Classroom walls and doors have been
removed. Extensive work has been started on athletic fields
north of the school and grading and base work is underway for a
new bus loop and parking area.
Work began immediately after the end
of school on June 11th. Currently Zemmer
administration is housed temporarily in the Administration &
Services Center, 250 Second Street in Lapeer.
The administrators will move to the
new Rolland-Warner campus as soon as the offices are completed
there and the school is ready for occupancy.
Students in the seventh grade will
attend classes as the final class of Zemmer Junior High School
during the 2009-2010 school year. In the fall of 2010, the
District will open two new sixth, seventh and eighth grade
programs at the new Rolland-Warner and Zemmer Middle School
campuses.
